Supply chain provenance
Status for the latest visible version.
Without SLSA provenance there is no cryptographic link between this tarball and the public source — the axios compromise (March 2026) relied on exactly this gap.

| Source | Rule | Reason | Accepted by | When |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| source-diff | encoded-string-file:dist/index.umd.cjs | AI (source-diff): Long strings are minified D3/hpcc-js bundle output, not obfuscated payloads; stable pattern for this package. | ai | |
| source-diff | obfuscated-file:dist/index.es6.js | AI (source-diff): Standard rollup ES6 bundle output; long lines are minified but not obfuscated malware. | ai | |
| source-diff | net-exec-file:dist/index.es6.js | AI (source-diff): D3 namespace URLs and normal dynamic patterns in a visualization library bundle; no actual network fetch or eval. | ai | |
| source-diff | net-exec-file:dist/index.min.js | AI (source-diff): Same as es6 bundle — D3 namespace strings in terser-minified UMD output, not dropper code. | ai | |
| source-diff | obfuscated-file:types-3.4/FAChar.d.ts | AI (source-diff): Long line is base64-encoded FontAwesome TTF embedded in a type declaration; documented and benign. | ai | |
| source-diff | encoded-string-file:dist/index.js | AI (source-diff): Base64 FontAwesome font data, explicitly commented as such in source. | ai | |
| source-diff | encoded-string-file:src/FAChar.ts | AI (source-diff): Same FontAwesome TTF base64 string in source file with openssl comment; stable and benign. | ai | |

v3.7.8
1 findingPackage was published without Sigstore provenance. Only ~12% of npm packages have provenance, so this is common but not ideal.

v2.73.6
7 findingsNewly added source file contains lines over 3000 chars, suggesting minified or obfuscated code. New obfuscated files are a strong attack indicator.
Newly added file contains both network calls and dynamic code execution. This is a hallmark of dropper/loader malware.
