@tryghost/mg-webscraper

Scrapes metadata from post URLs during a migration. Fetches each post's original URL and extracts fields like `meta_title`, `meta_description`, `og_image`, etc. using CSS selectors. Results are cached to disk so re-runs don't hit the network.

SourceRuleReasonAccepted byWhen
provenance missing-githead AI (provenance): CI/CD pipeline change explains missing gitHead; SLSA attestation provides equivalent commit traceability. ai
provenance publisher-changed AI (provenance): Ghost Foundation migrated publishing to GitHub Actions CI with SLSA attestation; transition is legitimate and verifiable. ai
publish-pattern dormant-publish AI (publish-pattern): Ghost Foundation monorepo package; publisher has 40 approvals and no rejections; dormancy consistent with infrequent maintenance cycles. ai
dependencies unvetted-dep:scrape-it AI (dependencies): scrape-it is a core dependency of mg-webscraper by design; stable and appropriate for this package's scraping purpose. ai
